Nadja Lavin grew up in Germany and studied architecture at the UdK Berlin. After a year at Annabelle Selldorf’s architectural office in New York she discovered her passion for fabrics and interiors. She then went on to study textile design for 2 years at the prestigious Gerrit Rietveld academy in Amsterdam.

After graduating in 2004 she set up studio nadjalavin. She has since worked on a wide range of projects internationally, spending 5 years in the U.S. and recently relocated to London.

Studio nadjalavin provides a comprehensive full interior design service for residential and commercial interiors. The studio also creates limited edition home accessories and furniture such as curtains, lampshades, bookshelves etc.

Nadja Lavins' artworks have been featured in various exhibitions and recently she created the costume designs for “After Ella”!, an award wining short film written and directed by Marie-Emmanuelle Hartness.
